We are pleased to announce that Pavel Tihelka, an experienced expert in project management, marketing, and talent development, is joining the Kogi team. His professional journey so far is a testament to his broad skills and ability to successfully tackle complex challenges across various fields and markets.

Pavel studied management and economics at VUT and gained his first work experience through the AIESEC organization. Even during his studies, he worked at Vitar and Limova, where he focused on marketing, and spent a year in New Zealand at the University of Otago, where he taught management.

After returning to the Czech Republic, he joined a consulting firm, where he participated in audits and corporate restructurings. He also gained significant experience as the director of Svit, where his task was to optimize costs and stabilize operations. He subsequently focused on marketing development and product management in large telecommunications companies. At Vodafone and Telefonica O2, he led teams responsible for mobile products, roaming, and segment marketing. He was also the author of innovative solutions for international clients – for example, a portable Wi-Fi project that facilitated access to data services without the need to change the SIM card.

He gained further management experience at UPC, where he held the position of product director for Central Europe and focused on developing the product portfolio. After the merger with Vodafone, he took a short career break and then joined humancraft, where he spent the last five years as a trainer and consultant. Here, he focused mainly on talent development, project leadership, and training in demanding professional areas.

Pavel is characterized by a strong orientation towards data analysis, finding functional solutions, and the ability to synthesize complex information into practical and sustainable outputs. As he says: “I like to understand how things work correctly. In all areas, because things are a whole and work in context.” This approach reflects his work style and motivation to bring a connection of expertise and functional results into projects.

In his free time, he engages in a range of activities – he is a divemaster, trains a children's rugby team, enjoys traveling by motorcycle, and is a DIY enthusiast.

“We look forward to working with Pavel and believe that his analytical thinking, experience with complex projects, and ability to find functional compromises will greatly enrich our team,” adds Filip Hurda, CEO of Kogi.

We believe that Pavel Tihelka will be a great asset to our team and that his approach, experience, and energy will contribute to the further development of our projects and the company as a whole.
