David Brzobohatý, an expert in individual and team development, is joining the team at Kogi, a company specializing in measuring and transforming corporate cultures.

David brings to the Kogi team more than 20 years of experience gained in management positions in the Czech Republic and abroad, primarily in financial services. He'll focus on coaching, HR, and compensation.

“David is a heavyweight of the Czech HR scene, with an incredible career behind him. His experience from both the Czech and Asian markets is a great complement to our existing core team. I don't know anyone else who could build an HR department from scratch capable of hiring 1,000 new employees in a month,” says Filip Hurda, CEO of the company.

After finishing his studies at the University of Economics in Prague, David started out in financial and tax auditing. In the following years, he specialized in compensation. At IVAX (now Teva), he held the position of European compensation manager, and at what was then GE Money Bank, he gained experience leading a team. From 2010, he developed his career at Česká spořitelna in various HR roles, where he was responsible for implementing changes in HR management, compensation, and employee evaluation. He then moved to the Philippines in 2015 as part of the Home Credit group, where he built a full HR department from the ground up and grew the company from 800 to 13,000 employees within a few years.

“I'm looking forward to being able to devote myself fully to the personal and professional development of individuals and teams at Kogi. I most enjoy working with people, helping build teams, and shaping their environment so they can thrive and succeed,” adds David Brzobohatý.
